Looking for someone that can do 3D deep relief files for Mach 3 mill/lathe. I don't care what software you use as long as it can be prossed as a Mach 3 file.

What kind of part are you looking for to machine? Is it already designed and are you looking for only the CNC code, or do you need someone to provide the part modeling also? I design in Solidworks and can provide the CNC g-code also, but you need to provide more information about the part and the intended machine tool you will cut it on.

Attached is one example. What would it cost for file? I have been doing custom turning and am finishing a mill/lathe to do up to 24" by 10'. See www.turningaround.org, the Evolution Mill section.
Another one under discussion would be 4" by 36" and 1.5" deep of horses galoping across piece. This is for a frame around a plasme TV that will retail at $1200. I reaize that it is asking how long is a piece of string and there are too many variables to give definate answer so any estamate is a wild ass guess (WAG).
All of my work is small runs of usually less than 20 pieces so price is important as it is probaly a one time use and there are not many pieces to spread the cost over.. I really don't want to spend the time necessayr to learn CAD package and would rather have someone do it for me and email me the file.

Okay, so here's your basic wood pineapple. About the diamond patterns... are they sunken into the surface? i.e. are the 1/4" ribs protruding? Or are the 1/4" ribs grooves in the surface?

Fun Model

Hi
It looked like a fun SolidWorks modeling challenge, and I am still making adjustments on the pattern.
When that is finished I will work on the G code.

Hope you don"t mind.

contract drawing

Seems to me that there should be a nich market out there for this type of service. I might need 1 or 2 pieces a month and I have enough on my plate without doing the drawing. $100 for the pinapple would have been very reasonable. My business is a nich market and developing it was slow because no one knew that the service was avaliable.
For anyone that wants to pursue this I will be glad to develope a section on my site for contract CAD. Would need software used, email ( they would contact you directly) , a couple of samples with drawing file and price, etc. You could email me a beer now and then to cover cost. Anyway if you are interested contact me at akransom@comcast.net.

E Drawings

Hi Art
You might find it usefull to down load E drawings. It will let you to view 3D models and mark the changes and corrections you require.
You will find it here. SolidWorks version for these.
http://www.solidworks.com/pages/prod...gs/viewer.html

After you download it you can view these.

CNC Zone will not let me up load E drawings files here.
So I will send them to your Web site address.
