I currently have the following vacancy with a client based in Southampton. They require a suitable CNC Programmer to start ASAP. The Fanuc knowledge below is no mandatory requirement!

"Our client is looking for an experienced CNC Programmer for an immediate start to program and operate the CNC machine to machine wood and paneling in the production process.

The role involves correctly interpreting CAD drawings prior to setting out and cutting and programming the CNC machine using the Alpha Cam (Licom) software.

Experience in CNC programming and operating is essential and you will ideally have experience using Heian CNC machine with Fanuc controls. The role requires good communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and the ability to work using your initiative as well being a team player. You will also be required to maintain your CNC programming skills to the highest level.

Our client is based in Southampton, and is renowned for craftsmanship and quality of service, with operations in Furniture Restoration, Contracts, Contract Furniture Manufacture, and manufacturing Hand Made Pocket Sprung Beds.
