RFQ CNC Lathe parts Stainless...

These pins are pretty straight forward. All of the parts need to be a Stainless steel that wont rust. (yes some will) Nothing industrial, just sitting around in humidity. They all need to have a smooth finish. None of the tolerances are NASA .000000000001 but they will need to be done on CNC equipment as we need consistent part to part pieces. They will need to fit parts that I am cranking though the mill now.

The part "pin large"
has a 1/4 28 TPI tapped hole 3/8 deep in the rear which is not drawn correctly, but you get the idea. The only thing critical about this part is the .894 with the 60 degree shoulder. That establishes a datum point. The .750 can be less if you are turning true from bar stock.

The part “pin center”
The .375 can be less if you are turning true from bar stock. But I need to know what it will be so I can finish ream the mating hole. The front is not near as complicated as it looks. .136 drill .375 deep. Then a 60 degree counter sink or drill or... stepped in the front of hole. Leave about a .02 face on the front of part. Sounded simple in my head.

The part “pin short”
The .250 Dia really needs to stay .250. Plus 0. The front or small end has 10/32 threads. I should have drawn a relief at the shoulder so it would “shoulder out” flush without me having to machine a counter bore. I just need 5+ threads.

The part “pin long”
The .250 Dia really needs to stay .250. Plus 0. The front or small end has 10/32 threads. I should have drawn a relief at the shoulder so it would “shoulder out” flush without me having to machine a counter bore. I just need 5+ threads.

If you want to trade for mill work instead of billing outright, that is fine. I have had that request before. If we see eye to eye it can be beneficial to both sides.

j-radkemachine,
This particular job is new for me also. But for a long time customer, that says this would run 2 times a year. But we have all heard that one before...but they have a excellent track record with me
