CNC Machinist Needed

I am currently looking for a full time motivated goal oriented CNC Machinist for Set-up on HAAS machines, located in Pleasanton Ca.

This position will train during the Day shift for approximately one month, after which time, this position will be on the Swing shift (3:00PM-11:30PM). If you have some prior experience training may be shortened. Training is just to help adapt your skills to our shop. We are a growing design and manufacturing company, and this is great place to start or continue your career, also there is a lot of opportunity for growth.

Job Requirements:
3 years Set-up experience with HAAS CNC machines and Fanuc programs or similar CNC controls;
Must be familiar with basic Windows programs.
Cad/Cam knowledge a plus (experience with Acad,Proe, or GeoPath even better)
Able to edit and understand G-Code programs at machine;
Attention to detail and able to work with tight tolerances
Must be able to read prints and drawings;
Self motivated with trouble shooting skills;
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English;
Ability to work with minimum supervision and understand and follow directions as given.

Job Description:
Swing shift machinist;
Setting up and running HAAS machines;
Ensuring that each job has required tools and materials to continue manufacturing activities
- Submitting purchase requests for non-inventory requirements
- Ensuring that work flows through the manufacturing process in a timely manner
- Communicating with Supervisor as to delays in production
- Ensuring that documentation is followed
- Requesting changes to current processes as needed for improvement or safety
- Ensuring that Quality Standards are met
