I have a project that I have been working on for several months to almost a year.
I struggled to learn basic CAD (from playing with Emachineshop.com software) and I have think I have finaly plotted out the 2 parts that I need for a project.
The 2 parts are basicly made out of Alumium with a black coating on it (I think powercoat).
The 1st one is basicly a 90* elbow with a slit cut out on 1 side (for mounting).
The other is a smaller version of a R.I.S. This is a Rail Intergrated System and is used in real-life and military weapons as an easy way to swap out different scopes and accessories.
I have them both drawn up in the emachineshop software, and it will export to AutoCAD R12/LT12 format, but it will not save the 3D information.
The only thing that I dont have "set" correctly is the drill hole size and the "division" of the RIS part.
The hole size is just for placement and I cant "divide" the part into 2 pieces cause the software wont allow me to.
