| You are going to have to spec another finish. Anodizing is not possible on steel. Do you mean clear (silver) zinc? Scott

| I wasn't aware of the anodizing of steel, until earlier today. On the water jet, I thought the same thing, but the guy around here wanted way too much to cut these parts on the water jet. I can get them cut out on the mill cheaper then he would cut them on the water jet. On the lead time, I don't need them tomorrow but I need by the beginning of next year. Thanks for all of the help. |

| Laser sounds like the way to go. Shops in this neck of the woods charge around $0.07 per inch of cut (depending on the shop) plus programming and material. For 20 pieces, this is the way I would recommend. I know this is and RFQ and my post is of little assistance but it seemed relevant considering you had mentioned water jet cutting. Scott
