I am in need of a special small tool for a mill job. I need a #7 (0.201) dirll I can chuck up in a 1/4" or 1/2" router chuck. I would like a shoulder on it so I can set a tool H offset. I have attached a drawing. I drew it with for a 1/4" collet but may have to be 1/2. Or does anyone know where I can buy this type of drill. I seem to remember a drill like this for the aircraft industry but I can not find it now. Edit-- The actual drill length can be 1 to 2 inches.

| if u use the 1/2 you can have sombody turn one up and have the drill lock in with a set screw or braze it in, depends on how much force your going to have. I wouldnt think very much on a router......i can quote you one i stainless if u want.....pmproducts2000@yahoo.com |
