Can anyone here digitize a part for me?

    Hello everyone,

I'm in need of some 2.5D digitizing. The part is a knife handle, as seen in the picture. I need the contour, bolt holes, and depressed area for the lock mapped out. This can all be accomplished in one setup. Tolerances needs to be about .003 for everything to bolt together correctly.

PS, if anyone wants to trade some digitizing for some milling time, I would be happy to do the deal that way.

Cold Fusion, I have a digitizer that will output a STL file. But it won't give you NURBS surfaces for your CAM program.
Accuracy is +-.004, but that will generate a huge file and take a couple of days of scanning time on my system.
If you want to try it, PM me.

Sorry Dustin but I tried. On the other hand buscht's price is right. CF I hope you don't mind me taking a little of your thread. Buscht if you can digitize for free can you machine, sand and finish wood for free? I have this job that has about 200...... I'm kidding, I promise.

Dustin, Cold Fusion might still need to get ahold of you. After all, you get what you pay for

turmite, I figure that I might lose a little on each job, but I'll make it up on volume.

It's all good. If Trent is unable to produce a managable model, I'll try Dustin.
