Our client has an opening for a CNC Machinist at their S.E. Calgary Machine Shop. This position will require shift work and availability for after-hours support. Previous oilfield machine shop experience highly desirable for this position
Responsibilities:
Perform various daily machining duties.
Operate and program CNC Lathe and other machines.
Follow company procedures
Ensure schedules are met.
Perform maintenance requirements on machines.
Assist with training new employees.
Operate forklift.
Maintain working area and equipment.
Performs all duties so as to meet the responsibilities as listed in the health and safety ection of the employee handbook.
Perform duties according to the company¡¦s quality system procedures and work instructions.
Requirements "X Journeyman Machinist (3rd or 4th year apprentice also considered)
Forklift certification required
First Aid and WHMIS certifications
Excellent English communication skills mandatory
