Utley's Inc, is an established family run company specializing in Prototype Development and Fabrication. The company is based in Queens, in a 15,000 sq. ft facility with 45 full time employees.

Utley's houses a comprehensive range of services, 7 CNC machines, CAD department, Urethane and Silicon molding, Rapid Prototyping, 3D scanning and LASER cutting, custom color matching, finishing and graphics etc.

Utley's is seeking to fill a Full Time, Long Term CNC Programmer / Operator, experienced (min 2-5 years) non-manager position.

The qualified, hardworking, and professional individual must be self-sufficient in programming and set-up, familiar with Fanuc controls, Haas (Mill) machines (VF-0, VF-2, VF-0E ) and proficient with MasterCam. Candidate must have the ability to execute a program from start to finish and have the ability to train/instruct other machinists.

The Candidate will be required to take a job from an inbound file, or generated 3D geometry and program (offline - using Mastercam), set up and run the part, handing off a machine finished piece for further processes.
Due to the nature of prototyping, there will be a high ratio of set up time to programming time.

The candidate must be able to efficiently work on several diverse projects per day and respond in a nimble way to changes in priority. The ability to work with and assist other departmental members when needed is important.

Materials primarily used are cast acrylic, aluminum (7075), tooling board and occasionally other materials such as brass.

Experience running Haas machines with Fanuc controllers is strongly preferred.

Hours 8am to 4.45pm, Mon -- Fri
Pay hourly (time and a half after 8 hours per day)
Overtime would be available depending on workload, either at the end of the day or weekends.
