Our company was founded in 1957. We represent manufacturers in Castings, Forgings, and Machining in the Detroit, Michigan area. We're very successful and well known in the market.

Our goal is to find the right person to start and run a new division that can perform the following:

CNC Vertical and Horizontal Milling - Up to 4 axis VIA CAD/CAM
CNC Lathe with Live Milling when applicable
Simple Bridgeport work
Digitizing and reverse engineering

The right candidate will be able to produce parts as complex as foundry patterns and molds from solid models and design and build Horizontal Tombstone fixtures with hydraulic fixturing. The right candidate will be a self-starter that can begin this journey alone and add and manage skilled employees as the business grows. The right candidate has experience in technologies that allow safe lights out operation and believes in technology over labor. Better yet, the right candidate will have the credentials to back up all of the above.

Salary $60,000 - $120,000/year based on experience - plus excellent bonus based on profitability. Health Benefits after 30 days.

I have a shop here with 4-axis horizontal milling, 3 & 4 axis vertical milling, manuals, live tooling turning with y-axis and c-axis, welding/fabrication, painting, a DEA CNC cmm, Solid modelling and cam programming.
