    CNC Programer/Entry Level Solidworks Designer

    Trying to find work in the Charlotte, North Carolina Region.

    I'm looking for an entry level Solidworks design position or CNC CAD/CAM designer/programmer.

    I am currently taking an Advanced Solid Modeling class utilizing Solidworks 2011 at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, NC. Before the end of the semester I hope to obtain a Certified Solidworks Professional certification.

    I currently work as a CNC Programmer/Laser Process Development technician developing laser cladding processes for a machine tool manufacturer located in the Charlotte, NC region. The company deals heavily with the Aerospace & Power Generation industries.

    I have an Associates Degree in Machining Technologies from Gaston College, I graduated w/ a 3.8 GPA in the program. The program trained in AutoCAD, Virtual Gibbs, PCDmis & CMM operation, GD&T, and CNC & Manual machine operation.

    Starting in January of 2012, I will be returning to the University of North Carolina Charlotte, to work on a Bach. Science in Mechanical Engineering.
