Due to growth, Space-Flite Industries Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to work is 2D, 3D and multi-axis work machining in our Bolton, Ontario facility.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC/CAM programmer to program parts from drawings and 3D models to our machines. You will also run CNC machines in the event of complex set-ups, reduced programming volume, or staff shortage.

Some of your duties will involve:

* Estimating machine times;
* Programming best practices;
* CAD drawing generation;
* Set-up engineering;
* Possible first-run proving of toolpaths.

In addition to at least 3 years of CAD/CAM and CNC experience, you are equipped with knowledge in 3D modelling software such as SolidEdge, as well as CAD/CAM software including EdgeCam or Solutionware Geopath. Haas or Toshiba experience would be considered an asset, as is CAM programming experience.

You are well-versed in operating specialized manufacturing with tight tolerances and working primarily in prototyping and short-runs of cast-iron/aluminum castings.
