Prigel Machine in Hood River, OR is currently recruiting for a CNC Programmer: Performs programming, set up and operation of CNC machining centers & CNC lathes. Develops CNC programs that reliably, predictably, and efficiently machines products.

Essential Functions: Develop CNC programs for milling and turning applications, determine machining methods, work sequence, selection of tooling and develop part documentation; Make machine adjustments as required, check dimensions, etc. ensure conformance to specifications; Maintain detailed records of all CNC programs including tooling required and set-up procedure; Troubleshoot machine and machining problems when required; Generate tool path with Mastercam X5 software and machine complex geometry parts; Mold machining; Develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods for optimal utilization of machines, equipment and personnel; Estimate machining times, tooling costs and related costs to provide information for management decisions; Design/make fixtures necessary for machining operations; Enter commands or manually adjust machine controls to correct malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining; Inspect own work and follow QC procedures.
