Job Opening Machine Shop Lead - CNC Programmer

Bel-Art Products is an established and thriving family owned and operated leading manufacturer of products for use in the laboratory. We also have several subsidiaries, the largest of which is Maddak, Inc., specializing in rehabilitative products for the disabled.

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Machine Shop Lead.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up and operate milling and CNC Lathe machines, surface
grinder, press brake, cut off saw and drill press.
• Read Blue Prints and use measuring instruments
• Must be able to use OKUMA Control
• Work within tolerances of .001 to .0015
• Keep time records
• Load and unload trucks
• Work in other areas as needed

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 4-5 yrs. Experience on CNC and manual machines
• Computer skills
• Basic math skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in English written and verbally

Wow!! sounds like my type of company I could easily fall in love with ...
I worked and loved OKUMA lathes and 3 axis machining centres for 1.5 years working for a high precision bearing manufacturer.
I also had the opportunity to work with a 5 axis 800 and 1000 model, and with an 80YB machining and turning center (OKUMA aswell).

Do you take applicants from Mexico ?
I've an engineering degree and have been in the CNC since 2004.
Currently working as an ME (CNC programmer) for a company in the Medical.
