Redford based steel ring and forging manufacturer seeks an Inside Sales Manager. Will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Inside Sales and Sales Support Departments. Must have Knowledge of the steel industry including forgings - Knowledge of numerous industries that utilize rings and forgings - Possess a thorough business understanding from demand creation through fulfillment and customer relationship management - Ability to analyze the current market and adjust pricing to secure sales while maintaining profitability. - Ability to develop and implement new inside sales initiatives - Manage the Inside Sales and Sales Support departments - Develop and manage systems that provide accurate and timely cost estimates and quotations. - Develop and manage processes that allow sales-related transactions to be processed accurately and efficiently. - Train and develop an effective and efficient sales staff. - Issue quotations of less than $250,000 without approval from Director, Technical Support Services or President. - Schedule and assign department personnel. - Work as liaison between Inside Sales and Quality. - Work as liaison between Inside Sales and Manufacturing.
