Broadview, IL manufacturer seeks logistics/shipping manager. This is a team leader type role with floor responsibility to receive raw material, stage parts at different machines, coordinate moving parts to outside services including coordination of purchase orders for outside services, packing and shipping of parts and inventory management. This person will be fully responsible for movement of parts through the manufacturing process both internally and externally including management of inventory.

Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 yrs experience in Logistics and Shipping with manufacturing company.
- Minimum of 5 yrs immersion in lean manufacturing
- Understanding of flow and need to move parts through the shop effectively and efficiently.
- Familiar with visual management and just in time.
- Self Starter and works with a sense of urgency.
