I've got a piece of 6061 that I want turned into a sub plate. It's 1" x 8" x 27". It needs 216 holes, 1/4"x20tpi, spaced 1" apart. The holes need to go all the way through. I don't have a drawing yet but if you need one, let me know. Thanks, Lee |

| Yes, the holes start .5" from the edges. The holes are in a square pattern. This will look like a sub plate but be used as the base plate for a model car/motorcycle frame jig. I'll make my own brackets for keeping everything lined up. The holes need to be precisely spaced, but if they start .532" from the edge on one side, it really won't matter. I can send a photo of a smaller one that I have. It was made for me several years ago as a sub plate for my Sherline mill. It works great for that, but at 9"x5", not so great for 1/8 scale car chassis or 1/6 motorcycle frames. |
