50-150 Small Brass Battery Contacts Sets using Laser Cutting? | | Wow! I'm having fun with these requests. I've been reading about the laser cutters to cut out metal exact, clean and burr free. These example contacts were more than likely created with stamps, punches and forms 40 years ago. They are also corroded from old "D" batteries.
These are 3 small brass battery contacts made from .011", 1 very thin .004" brass sheet metal and 1 steel part at .018" The steel part is a stiffner for the thin brass piece. The small brass piece with the point has a 1/8" arced depressed in the piece. It will need to be about 3/16" longer. The hole positions are the most critical and are 1/8".
The graph paper is 1/8" scale and is meant to give a general size on whether can do and no go. If you need cad drawings or something equiv to input into the machine, let me know and I can have them created. I've worked with google sketchup. But I'm sure there is some freebee software that will let me create the drawings.
I'll need about 50-150 sets created. That should last me a lifetime!
Here is the full sized photo for more detail. http://voiceofthemummy.com/Documents...acts%20012.jpg
Thanks for any help!
