Job Opening Programmer/Operator Indianapolis, IN

We are looking for an experienced CNC programmer/operator that can go from drawing/model to finished part with little or no guidance.

Basic 4 Axis mill experience is a must.

Must have experience with CAD/CAM applications. Surfcam experience is a BIG plus, as it is the programming environment we use.

Must be proficient in CNC tooling. You must know how to determine what tooling you will need to complete a job.

Experience on both mills, and lathes is a plus.

The majority of the work is prototype, proof of concept, and some tooling to support our production department, with the occasional small production run.

We have machines from various builders, all with Fanuc controls.

Manual machining experience is a plus, and preferred.

The ideal candidate will have experience in job shops, small prototyping shops, tool rooms, etc. We are NOT looking for the type of production "machinist" found in todays factories.

This position is 1st shift, 6:00am to 4pm Mon - Thurs. Must be able to stand for a full 10 hr shift and lift 30 lbs repetitively. Must have long term dependable work history and be able to pass a drug screen. HS Diploma or GED required.
