Looking to get 6 parts made of either aluminum or stainless. What I need is a tapered pentastar ( pentagon ) tapering from (inscribed in a 1" circle to inscribed in a 5/8" circle ) 3" long. Can have 1/4" holes in each end. I made a jig that makes the thing perfect out of wood but tried cutting the aluminum and it was a nightmare. Seems like it would be simple enough if I had the right type of mill. What these are going to be is the Turn signal lever knob, the oil dipstick and the transmission dipstick handles and the tilt knob ( and 2 spares just in case) for my 1932 Plymouth street rod. I can do the machining on my lathe to finish them off. I can furnish an ACAD drawing or a wood model. Thanx in advance ! |
