Excel Technical Consulting are delighted to offer the position of Senior Milling Machine Supervisor based in the United Arab Emirates.

The role will involve close liaison and co-ordination with both the Design and Production Managers to ensure timely scheduling of manpower and material resources. One of our Directors has recently been to this very impressive facility and the workload they currently have involves all types of composite structure, from decorative and structural architecture, to energy turbines, to exotic luxury yachts. They are a very forward thinking company and are looking to increase their staffing levels by 50% due to the increasing use of composites in the Region.

Responsibilities will include:

Maintaining production output by being able to quickly analyze situations and resolve any issues through management of staff
Oversee set up and programming of machine tools while optimizing the use and performance of the equipment
Assign jobs to meet the productions schedule while driving to continue improvements.
Implement corrective action and improvement plans, including training and induction of new employees.
Communicate, administer and ensure compliance to company policies for safety, attendance, regulations etc.

Skills and Experience we are looking for include:

Excellent working knowledge of 5-axis CNC milling and turning machines, specifically CMS/F Zimmerman)
Minimum of 10 years precision machine shop experience and ability to interpret complex drawings
Experience in shop floor management with excellent communication skills in English
Experience with all forms of measuring methods including GD&T and previous G-code programming experience.
Microsoft PC literacy.
Educational degree or equivalent

Working in a high tech and modern facility the hours are 7.30 to 5.30 Sunday to Thursday and 8-1.30 Saturday with 30 Days Holiday per annum.
Salary is dependant on experience, but a substantial package is on offer, including support and assistance in gaining visa’s, correct documentation and accommodation.
