RFQ- Small Delrin parts 140-250 pieces

I am looking for a quote on some Delrin pieces below.

100-200 pieces:
.250 overall length
taper from .187 to .277
.130 thru hole

10-20 pieces:
.250 overall length
taper from to .187 to .277
.187 thru hole

10-20 pieces:
.375 overall length
taper from to .187 to .277
.187 hole first .25 (.277 taper side) and then stepped down to .150 the rest of the .125 (ending on .187 side)

You can send me a PM here or email erikdye@gmail.com. Please include an itemized price along with an estimate of when they could be completed.

Thanks!
Erik

Erik,

What type of tolerances do you need. Also what type of "step down" do you want on the third part?

Tolerances are very non critical, say .005 is more than fine. After thinking about it, it would not be a problem to use .250 round stock and do slightly under .250 on the larger part of the taper instead of the .277 given before.

On the third part, the drilled hole in the center needs to be .187" diameter for .250 of the entire length starting on the side that has the .277 bigger taper. Then, stepped down to .150 for the remaining .125 of the piece.

Let me know if that does not make sense.

Ok .250 rod would be a little cheaper. I guess what I meant about the step-down was do you need a 90 degree shoulder or 60 degrees that a standard drill would leave you?

Gotcha.

90* would be ideal, 60* would work if the taper started where the 90* would end. I am pushing a spacer into that end so as long as it did not make it past that point.

You allow any o.d. edge breaks? Those sharp edges will need to be tumbled or have machined chamfers or radii or they will have little fuzzy, stringy burrs on them. Do you allow i.d. chamfers? The cut-off side will have a burr rolled back in the hole. Thanks for the drawings, glad to see someone free hands as bad as me. Also what color do you want? Black or white is the most available.

Anybody else?

Is there a reason I cannot get quotes on these parts?

I would quote them, but you didn't answer my questions. Also since these are so easy I think you should have lots of quotes, so maybe you are looking for Chinese pricing?

I sent you a PM.

Not looking for Chinese pricing. I am more than willing to pay a fair price.

I have had quite a few of these made in the past. I have only had two quotes. One was 2x as much as I have paid and one was over 10x the price I have paid.
