Hi all, I am in need of someone to do a quick, small & cheap CNC job for me in Salt Lake City: A base to fix 5 cameras to is needed. Basically a 2x2x10 piece of plastic or Aluminum with milled pockets the size of the square back of these 4 cameras to adjust them when gluing to the plastic. Then have something to fix a 5th one to on top of the four. Dimensions of a camera is app. (H x W x D): 1.6” x 2.4” x 1.2” (42mm x 60mm x 30mm). I guess the most challenging part of this whole thing is that I have no drawings, and cannot measure the camera backs nor make a drawing by myself. So I need to brings the cameras for measurement. That's why it has to be in Salt Lake City. I am flexible on the material used for this. I am available all day, every day starting the week of Monday 15th Nov. Email me at janmartin AT diy-streetview DOT org or call 801-9350477. Thanks, Jan Martin P.S.: I am German. English is my second language. Last edited by janmartin; 11-12-2010 at 11:01 PM. |

I am not in SLC, but I might be able to help you. You could take a flatbed scan of the back and send me (or any other shop) that image. That should be good enough to make a simple mounting bracket-type thing. Just a suggestion. Fletcher Great River Machine Works |
