Job Opening 5 Axis CNC Programmer Needed in Cleveland, Ohio.

Minimum of 5 years experience as a CNC Programmer required.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and refine CNC programs and programming methods for vertical and horizontal machining centers utilizing CAM software. Emphasis on 4 and 5-axis simultaneous machining.
• Understanding of setup and operation of CNC equipment including, mills, vertical and horizontal turning, and mill turn machines.
• Development and implementation of CAM software use and programming strategies with a focus standardization of processes.
• Create multi-channel programs using EIA programming techniques when required
• Other projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
• Manufacturing Engineering Technology or Equivalent degree preferred.
• 5-10 years CNC Machine programming experience utilizing Solid Models and CAM programming software.
• Strong Solid Works design skills required.
• 5 axis machine programming utilizing Camworks Software (Mastercam, Gibbs, or equivalent will be considered)
• Good mathematics which an emphasis in geometry - gear geometry knowledge a plus.
• Must be familiar with machine controls. Siemens 840D Machine Controls a plus.
• Proven track record of implementing and leveraging CAM software.
• Must be a high energy and driven individual
• Must possess a high degree of attention to detail
• Excellent organization skills
• Good communication skills (ability to understand and be understood) both written and verbal
