CNC Machinist/Programmer looking for work. Currently employed as CNC Machine Operator & Process Development. 3 years of 5 axis machine operation experience. Graduated 2009 with Associate of Science in Machining Technology from Gaston College. 3.8 GPA in program. Class topic's included 2 semesters of Gibbs Cam, 2 Semesters AutoCad 2009, 1 semester GD&T, 1 semester Mazatrol programming, multiple semesters of G-Code programming and CNC & Manual Machining. 1 semester PC-Dmis w/ Brown & Sharp CMM. Basic (non-work related) experience using Solidworks 2009 and Pro-Engineer. Above is main machining experience. However, I also spent the spring 2010 semester (Jan - May 2010) teaching evening classes covering Machining Topics at Gaston College. Seeking a CAM/CAD position or CNC Programmer, but open to CNC operation/setup w/ option to move into programming & design. What I'd like to find the most would be a job w/ some time spent in front of computer doing design and programming work, and some time spent in front of a machine proofing out programs and designs. I would prefer no traveling, but I am willing to travel some, if required. I currently possess a valid United States Passport that is valid until 2020. Current wage approx. $15/hr w/ benefits (health/dental/vacation), looking for same or better. Resume & references are available. Looking for flexibility in schedule, to allow for time to continue working on a Mechanical Engineering Degree at University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Would like position in or near Gastonia, but willing to drive within Charlotte region. Please contact me through PM's on this website, or gordonite@hotmail.com (this isnt my mail email account, but it gets checked several times a day. I do not want to post my main email, to prevent it from getting over run by spam bots) *edit* I forgot to add this yesterday. Here is a link to my Linked In profile, for anyone that might find it useful or of interest. http://www.linkedin.com/pub/adam-baker/22/828/aa8 Last edited by Adam Baker; 08-23-2010 at 11:35 AM. |

| Bumping this, as Im still looking. Wish to add that I have decided to open up to relocation, depending on the opportunity and the presence of a university that would allow me to continue working on my mechanical engineering degree. Im mainly looking in the North & South Carolina area's. As mentioned above, Im really trying to find an entry level CAD/CAM position. But I would be open to CNC operation/setup w/ ability to move into programming & design. Please contact at above given email address, and I will respond as soon as possible. |
