If you know a machinist in San Diego who knows Excel I know an international company that has a position for a Cost Accountant for machined parts. Must know Machining and some Excel. And have nice clothes; you won't be in a shop any more.  Aparently there's a new fad taking off with a few rather large companies where they are seeing the benefit of havng ex-machinists in procurement, engineering, estimating and buying positions. If interested let me know.
