Cooper Tools currently is accepting applications for the Machinist 1 position at our facility located in Lexington, SC. This opportunity will be on our SECOND SHIFT.

Machinist candidates will be able to set up and operate a variety of CNC equipment (lathes, mills, grinders). Candidates must be able to interpret complicated drawings and written instructions, apply shop mathematics, possess working knowledge of speeds and feeds, and understand tool deometry to consistently produce parts conforming to engineering specifications. In addition, successful candidates will be proficient in the use of all measuring instruments and understand operator process control.
