You need a far better spec. There is no such thing as perfectly flat.
If you need down to microns of flatness expect to pay thousands.
I need (14) steel spacers made. I still have to take the initial measurements, but they are roughly 20" long 3"wide and 5" tall. They need to be machined perfectly flat. Each has roughly 5-6 1/4" holes drilled vertically.
They are spacers so that my Z axis can be lifted vertically for increased work space. The spacers will sit between a ground aluminum deck and a steel rack that has a geared surface that the the pinion gear can mesh with it and drive the gantry.
I can make solid works files, or send you all 14 rails that you can clone off.
Better yet if you could possibly even make all spacers that include a small geared rack that a pinion gear could mesh with that would be even more ideal, then i wouldn't have to fumble bolting 2 pieces together.
I will upload pictures later tonight. No clue where a person would acquire such thick steel.

my bad sorry, lets say +-.001" Or better if you have the capabilities. When i meant machined down, i just needed something more flat and accurate than straight bar stock.
I'm going to put this work order on hold until the future. Thanks.
