CNC Machinist needed in Carlsbad, NM.

Setup, program, and operate a variety of both manual and CNC machine tools without direction for difficult and unusual machining tasks.

Apply considerable ingenuity and improvisation to perform difficult machining operaitons applying knowledge of mechanics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.

Specialization in computer numeric control programming and operations. Perform setups for less experienced machinists and check work of others.

Machine parts to specifications using large-scale lathes, vertical boring mills, horizontal boring mills, drill press, hand and bench grinders, CNC machine tools, machinist hand tools, etc.



Qualifications

High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent. experience: 4 + years experience.

Works under general supervision performing advanced technical work utilizing a wide variety of resources, including computers.
May be responsible for all or part of a project.
May train and supervisor workflow.
