Title: Lead CNC Programmer

Location: Suburb of Portland, Oregon

North Plains / Hillsboro machine shop seeking an experienced CNC programmer for programming, setup, and limited operation of standard and multi-axis CNC turning and milling centers. Must have experience with Mastercam X2 or newer version. Responsibilities include:

*Lead programmer for all shop CNC machine tools (multi-axis turning centers, vertical and horizontal machining centers) with a focus on efficient setups and repeatable manufacturing processes.

*The creation and management of setup documentation.

*Good understanding of GD&T and how it affects part holding.

*Review and signoff of work orders prior to manufacturing, making sure program is up to date and ensuring tooling is in house or on order.

*Focus on continuous improvement of existing manufacturing processes.

*Create programs for specialized fixturing as needed.

*Aid in program training for backup personnel.

*Manage shop tool organization and inventory levels.

*Machine setup and operation as needed.

*SolidWorks experience is a plus.
