First off, Im located in the NY area of the USA, so I am looking for someone willing to help out and get paid well for the work in question. I have a small 2 stroke motor I would like to apply a special ignition system too. In order for this to work, some machine work maybe needed, but from looking at it, I think just a nicely designed mounting plate would do. Anyone in the USA NY area, interested in seeing some pictures first, please contact me back. Thank you very much |

| As you can see in the pictures, this is a small 2 stroke motor made from billet aluminum. I have a special ignition system I need to bolt to the motor, from what I can see, I need a plate made up to bolt to the crank case shown in the first picture, then after the plate is mounted, set the magnate on the crank shown in 2nd pic, we usually use a business card to get the proper gap from the coil, so by doing this and then sliding the coil on, center it to the stem of the crank, drill and tap 2 mounting holes to match the coil and WAALAA! The coil need to be mounted in the position shown in my picture, it will later on have some adjustment for retard and advancement. Sounds easy, I know....Anyone in the NY,NJ area?? I do not want to ship this anywhere, sorry. |
