We are looking for a Machine Center Operator to join our 2nd Shift manufacturing team. The successful individual will perform machine setup and operation. This position will also be responsible for the following activities:

• Setup and operate CNC controlled machines to perform machining operations;
• Read drawings and setup sketches to determine CNC program is accurate;
• Edit CNC programs as needed to ensure accuracy to drawings;
• Inspect parts after each machining operation using bore gauges, micrometers, or probes;
• Operate machines manually determining changes in regard to operating more efficiently, improving speed, feeds, and sets-up without aid of sketches; and
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Associates degree in Engineering Technology, preferred
• 2+ years previous experience with CNC machining
• Ability to read and interpret blue prints, drawings, and machine sketches
• Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) skills are required
• Ability to edit G-code programs for CNC machines, preferred
