Position Description:
• This is a B Shift - Weekend 5pm to 5am.
Position Requirements:
• 3-5 years of relevant experience, or 2 years plus technical school/Associate’s degree.
• Minimum Education: HS or GED.
• Experience operating a CNC Mill is required.
• Previous experience in gauge training, geometric tolerancing, and blue print reading is required.
• Experience with lathes, preferred.
• Prior machining center, multi-axis machining is an advantage.
• Good communication/interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attendance record is required.
• Must be self-motivated with willingness to learn and demonstrate strong, ethical work ethics.
• Ability to operate and maneuver around machinery safely to protect yourself and coworkers is required.
• Certified self-inspector is an advantage.
• Overall rating of “Meets Expectations”, or above, on year-to-date performance rating.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.; lifting devices/aids will be provided for heavier objects.
Accountabilities:
• The CNC Mill machinist will provide multi-axis, multi-tasking machining that includes milling and turning. Prior CNC mill experience is required; lathe experience is preferred. Mazak control language experience is preferred but candidates who offer Okuma or Fanuc will be considered based on their experience.
