CNC Setter / Operator with a minimum 2 year's experience, to join this manufacturing machine shop based in Hastings.
The ideal candidate will be able to programme, set and operate a 3 to 9 axis lathe. You will have experience of conventional machines such as CMZ, Hyundia and Star.
You will have experience of Operating CNC machines and Fanuc or similar control systems to work in the engineering machine shop producing a wide variety of components in various materials and working to tight tolerances.
The ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and attitudes:
- Ability to read drawings
- Previous experience in CNC environment
- Flexibility to work multi machines

- Willingness to take on other duties as required by the company

- Work to a high standard unsupervised
- Be willing to train on other machines
- Have a good understanding of safety awareness
Hours:- 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7.00am - 4.30pm and Friday 7.00am - 11.00am (shifts on a temp to perm basis).
CNC Machinist - Shift Supervisor - Newhaven - £30-35k
Massive order for automotive client has resulted in the need to open shift working to enable 24/7 production.
You will be a CNC Programmer able to deliver Fanuc based components on complex prototypes and supervise CNC operations.
Automotive or Aerospace previous experience welcomed. CMM and self inspection experience desired.
