Moving to Australia is often a lifestyle choice. Referred to as ‘the lucky country’, Australia offers a high standard of living, ancient and varied landscapes, temperate weather, world-leading education and health systems and political and economic stability. Today, Australia is currently one of the best places to migrate to for a variety of good reasons.

One of these reasons is that Australia fosters a great community spirit. The people in Australia lead fairly relaxed and laid back lifestyles and there is a general sense that everyone is contributing to the greater good of the society! It is a very multicultural and highly accepting society, providing the perfect environment to raise a family!

    About Mackay

Mackay is a city on the eastern coast of Queensland, Australia, about 970 kilometres north of Brisbane, on the Pioneer River. Mackay is nicknamed the sugar capital of Australia because its region produces more than a third of Australia's cane sugar.

The Mackay region is an inviting blend of secluded beaches, elusive wildlife and rural communities. At the heart of the region is Mackay city, a vibrant city with lovely Art Deco buildings and streets lined with palm trees. The surrounding areas are perfect for holidaying far from crowds; whether it's relaxing at secluded beaches, exploring an ancient rainforest, snorkelling the reef or strolling through a laid-back city centre with a welcoming vibe, you'll love the tropical ambience of the Mackay region.

Just north of Mackay are the Whitsunday Islands. It’s a true Queensland paradise where you can expect the unexpected and feel the freedom to make it your own experience – whether it’s about relaxation and romance, or all the action of an island adventure. Be the master of your own destiny; charter a yacht and skipper yourself, or take a cruise and let someone else do the sailing for you - either way, let the grandeur of the landscape and the endless horizon dotted with islands wash over you.
