I have an Emco F1 CNC milling machine for sale. I thought I would find out if anyone was interested before offering it on Ebay. It's in good condition. I bought it from a machine-tool dealer who bought it from an adult training school. I would love to have kept it but I bought a new house and it will not fit down the basement stairs. It is an original Emco F1 with the original control and monitor. If you're interested, send me an e-mail and I'l send you some pictures. Included equipment: 7 End mill holders with following flexible collets : format : ((quant), size ); (2) 5-6mm, (1) 4-5mm, and (4) 9-10mm - A quick change drill chuck I adapted to a 10mm tool holder. - a fixture plate I designed where I work as a teacher (as a teacher of CNC machinsts) - an original vise with dowels so as to fit the fixture plate (no need to indicate vise when bolting it down). - a fixture I turned on the lathe that you can clamp the collet tool holder while you righten or loosen the collet ring (you clamp the fixture in a bench vise). Other stuff: I also have a LOT of documentation : complete .PDF manuals, all kinds of (printed) programming and teacher's manuals and all the internet research I did. I tried to get the communications working but never succeeded in getting it to work. I am not an expert in RS232 communications - maybe there was something I overlooked. The problem may be the shipping. Ideally the buyer would pick it up from where I live in Montreal. I am trying to find out a reasonable price. If no one is interested I will try to sell it on Ebay.
