Hi. I have an F1 mill which is fiied with a diskette and not a cassette as shown in the handbook. Which controls are used to get this to save/run/ etc? Which codes need to be used for this device? If this mill was fitted with this from new, does this mean that it is a late model Emco and can this be connected up for pc use? One other point, the cross traverse (Z) works in the opposite direction to the diagram shown on the control board front. Any answers here? The X and Y modes are correct. Thanks for any help here, Mike. |

| I think you should try the normal save/load G codes for tape use (I think G65 -> inp -> programnumber -> inp but don't know exactly anymore) Also with every emco F1 your able to "connect" to a pc via RS232 (its just sending and receving programs so not realy connecting as controling it via the pc or anything) Last edited by Wouter_1992; 05-28-2011 at 09:51 AM. |
