I have a complete Emco PC Turn 50 / Fanuc O The x-axis zeros incorrectly. it is off by about 77 mils. I hoped to offset the axis by the correct amount (in software/setup) so drills will work in the turret. but i cannot find any setting or gcode that will help. if i offset the axis, drilling cycles will not execute. (likely due to the -0.0771" x offset). Emco winNC/Fanuc O won't allow me to use G10 either. says "bad g-code" regardless of values set. I cannot find any mechanical way to do this (except trial and error and I have not gotten so desperate yet). moving the x-axis limit/sense switch doesn't help. i guess I could chuck 10mm drill rod, slide onto turret then tighten the tool changer bolts (just realized this trick). but seems unreasonable to not be able to set this in software, and unreasonable not to allow G10. any ideas? thanks |
