Default Wanted-Timing/Stepper Drive Belt for EMCO F1 CNC

A stepper drive belt on our school machine recently shredded itself, stopping our program in its tracks. The belt is approx 12mm wide x 120mm long with a tooth pitch of 2mm. Local belt suppliers say that I am out of luck, and I not heard anything from EMCO. What alternatives are available for use. I can easlilt slot the stepper motor mounting brackets to suit a slightly longer or offsize belt-just as long as our machine will work.
Please let me know of all alternatives and suppliers that will help.

    try here:

Timing Belts | Cable Chains | Gear Drive Belts | Gear Drive Chains | Polyurethane-Nylon-Delrin-Neoprene | WM BERG Engineered Mechanical Components

theyve got a narrow one, could run multiple belts...

    Circular Pitch : 2
    Material : NEOPRENE
    Type : TIMING BELTS
    Length : 121.9
    Berg's ® Name : Max-M-Drive®
    No. Of Pitches : 60
    Belt Width : 3
    Mating Pulley/Sprocket : Operates with TP7 series.
    Operating Speed : 20000RPM
    Operating Temperature : +85ºC to -34ºC
    PDF File name : M05A101
    Catalog Page Number : MA101

need to see if its a similar tooth profile, there are at least several tooth profiles in the round tooth styles, slight differences in tooth profile, and/or distance from tooth tip to cord centerline, this affects the effective pitch diameter. we just went thru this at work on some big 100 hp drives, htd/polychain/panther all use variations, some sprockets will run one or two profiles, none run all 3.
