Hello, I'm Student and need Help!

Hello, I am a student of mechatronics and have a numerical control lathe EMCO Compact 5 PC with a desktop PC with XP operating system and that we do not get around to communicate with the PC
when we are in the EMCO software and want to load a program, we get an error saying "machine without installing" to see if someone can tell me what the problem is.
