EmcoTurn E 65 tool turret refpoint missing alarm

An emcoturn E65 machine gives alarm "2003:tool turret refpoint missing" at startup. The turret does not move at all. System is Fanuc 0i-TC with Sauter turret controller.
Any help in this regard would be appreciated.

A faulty i/o signal was forcing Sauter EK 600 controller to go out of position. Correcting the signal removed the alarm.
