I am a long time Sodick wire EDM user. My new place of employment has all Fanuc Wire EDM`s For years I have been using G54 - G55 - G56 - etc. for work coordinates. Now I must conform to my new companys policy of using something called measured points or user points. I am told that its really the same thing , just the FANUC`s terminology, but I don`t get it. Can someone give me a concise explanation of this point thing. Thanks in advance , TOM |
