Deckel DE25C sinker EDM with Multiform 1 generator.

Troubleshooting assistance is needed for a Deckel DE25C sinker EDM, serial number 0481-0246. It has a Deckel Multiform 1 control/generator, type G45-25.

It will position X, Y and Z correctly but does not begin the burn.

The machine was working at the auction where it was purchased. After disconnect, move and reconnect it is now not working completely correctly.

I have called Don's number (DrDeckel Don Sentner), left voicemail and sent email. No complaint here. I am also a field service engineer so I know that Don may be very busy or on vacation. This information will prevent replies advising me to do what I have already done.

Any other sources of Deckel EDM information?

I have Deckel EDMs what sort of problems? must do a g25 with a value in r in the mdi mode, pos. over part and push cycle start this establishes a safty height before any burns can be made, any error messages appear? send a PM and we can talk.
