Mitsubishi EDM Rookie Hello, I started a similar thread in the "mentor" area but I wonder if this may be a better place for this. I have mainly self-taught myself to use a 1996 Mitsu CX-20 and I have questions. What do you use for an ultrasonic cleaning solution and where can it be sourced? Is there a source of parts and maintenance manuals other than the OEM? Please name a good source for consumables. Thanks! T.

It depends on what your cleaning. A safe bet is to use jewelry cleaner.

i use CLR or lime away. Most of the industrial cleaners like AC500, exilo, eager beaver are very harsh. Even with CLR and lime away i tend to cut it with water 50/50 or 30/60. I have seen people use vinegar and water with an ultrasonic. Just dont let the parts sit in the cleaners for extended amounts of time.
