Fanuc Tape Cut Model M anyone?

Is anyone running (or for that matter have knowledge of) a Fanuc Tape Cut Model M ?? For no particular reason I have recently acquired one (yet to be delivered) and it would be nice to know what issues I'm going to have!

This is not for business use - just me playing, and although I have a sinker EDM (Eurospark 425) I have no experience of wire EDM (which is why I got it)

Well it's arrived, I've re-assembled it, and re-commissioned it, and cut a test piece. Just need to get it DNCing to start the real fun. Lots to learn, new technology for me!

Geez...I ran one over 20 years ago. The machine was an Elox with the Fanuc M-11 series controller. I remember that settings wise, it did nothing automatically, but the closer you could get the on time and off time to each other, the faster it went. Also, ours ran submerged the vast majority of the time, and the full tank of water moved with the table. This was a hell of a lot of weight, so you didn't want to lean on the tank while it was cutting. For the same reason, it could get a bit dicey if you were traveling out near the limits. Have fun!!

No this one isn't a submerged cut. De-ionised water flows both downwards and upwards from jets surrounding the wire. For 1984/5 it's in remarkably good condition. I've tweaked a few bits, replaced numerous bulbs, done open heart surgery on some of the panel buttons and it's working fine.

The Fanuc 6M keyboard has a couple of none working keys (7 & -) so in an ideal world I'd like to replace the keyboard. Anyone got one???
