Brand info about Wire and Sinkers. . .

Our shop is thinking about getting both a wire and sinker EDM. We will be buying new from manufacturer. I've been given the task of finding different models and presenting this information to the decision makers. Here are the requirements given to me.

For the Wire:
Shop personnel has previous experience with a Fanuc alpha series
Standard use
Needs to be able to cut 9 1/2 inch thick on the z-axis
Needs to be able to cut a 12 x 24 inch part on the X x Y axis

For the CNC Die/Sinker:
Shop personnel has previous experience with a charmilles
Standard use
Same Dimensions on the X x Y axis
No specific Depth

Sodick AG 60L
Mitsubishi Gantry 1200
Makino EDNC65S

The questions are. . .

Am I comparing Apples to Oranges on these models?
Which one would you go with and why? (How many year of exp. do you have)
How does the programming differ?
Please be no sales people. . . . Just your honest opinion : )
