Hello,

I know that normally EDM Operation is done in Z axis. But i was curious to know that does CNC Spark EDM Machine do Sparking in X or Y axis ?

Simply, yes it does in both Positive and Negative senses too.

More indepth they also can work in polar coords too (ie XYZ and C rotation all moving) Imagine trying to machine a spiral hole!
