How switch 1997 Mits FX10 to run in inches?

Hello,

We recently acquired a 1997 Mits FX10. It comes up in mm. Usually this is O.K. but at times we need to run in inches. How do I switch it over? I tried the instructions in the manual of pressing "Maching Data" key and the "1" switch with the "Ready" button off but it keeps displaying mm values.

Any help will be most appreciated, as always.

That should work..
Try hitting the red all stop button.. but leave the computer on..
maybe then you can toggle the mm/inch button..

I know there is a procedure you follow when rebooting the software into the power control unit. I don't have it in front of me now (home) but if you have the manuals you may find it in there under rebooting the power unit. Now I am back at work. I have a Mits DWC 90 G and the book says to hit the "All Stop" press PARAMETER- INCH (3) release "ALL STOP" press "SYSTEM READY ON" I hope that does it for you.
