Exclamation Sodick AG600L

Hi i'm working on a Sodick Wire Edm... and We have a pc for our programming... and it posts with

G00G54X0.0Y0.0
G00G54G92X0.0Y0.0

Is the G92 needed in the post Because if we dont start the program at the beginning the Zero piece change... and we have to take it again...

Almost the same thing with M03...in the post we have m03 so it can move to the next thing to do if the wire cannot go throught... but everytime it does taht the Zero piece change...

Help! Thanks

you can take the G00G54G92 line out of the code. I tell people if you establish the part location before you hit run there is no need for the machine to reset it. That G92 in the program goes back to when machines wasnt able to store locations long term. If you have several G92 in the program you can go to EDIT and at the bottom of the screen hit Replace and in the top box type in G92 and in the lower box type G00 and hit replace all. That will take care of the problem if you are only programming with one coordinate.

If you are looking for a standalone programnming solution, we have posts for most Sodick machines, Fikus software for 2 or 4 axis
